Great dentist, friendly staff and great service.

Happens to be my local dentistry, but I'm very fortunate that it is. The staff are great and I've always been very happy with the treatment I've received.

My son had to have a filling and injection for the first time yesterday. The dentist (Sumayyah Hussainy) was amazing with him and the nurse who assisted. I have my own anxieties about the dentist, so was concerned how he would deal with this experience. But they spoke calmly and ensured he was ok the whole time. They distracted him whilst they did the injection and he says it didn't hurt him at all! He was a little trooper, but the dentist played a huge part in making it a calm experience.

Hello everyone this is my local dentist I’ve been coming here since i was a child I’ve had many teeth taken out fillings replaced cleaning plaque of the teeth, very helpful staff always helping and giving good advice

I needed some urgent treatment following an accident and called the practice as a distressed unregistered patient. The reception staff - who are all lovely - helped me to secure an appointment quickly. I saw Dr Mayur Patel who was incredibly kind, thorough and reassuring at my initial assessment. I then saw Dr Sarju Tank, along with lovely Demi assisting, for composite bonding treatment. She again was extremely kind, explained everything clearly, and did a fantastic job. She answered all my questions and arranged a follow up appointment in the future. I'm very grateful to everyone for helping me get treated so quickly and I can't recommend this practice enough.

I just wanted to put out there that I was so nervous with my extraction today as I always am with anything to do with the dentist but Abdul Naseer was really nice and reassuring. He is super friendly, professional & knowledgeable. He keeps you informed as treatment progresses throughout, so you know exactly what's happening. I cannot speak more highly of all the staff at the Sherwood Dental Practice the reception team, dental nurses and dental surgeons are all very welcoming, friendly, professional and efficient. Like many people, I can't say I like going to the dentist, but these guys make it about as great an experience as it can be.

Clean practice, lots of natural light, both dentists I've seen there have been friendly, corteous and polite. Usually not *too* far behind on their appointments (not a snipe, everywhere medical usually is), particularly if you go in the morning - this most recent time I was even seen exactly on time! I was fortunate enough that they still had NHS places when I joined, but for the quality of service the private fees wouldn't sting quite so hard as they might elsewhere.

What a fantastic experience, I was so nervous beforehand but I needn't have been. I've just attended the Sherwood Dental Practice for a dental implant with the implant specialist Abdul Naseer, I have to say this guy is a master at his craft. The extraction, implant & bone graft were completed so efficiently in no time at all. He is super friendly, professional & knowledgeable. He keeps you informed as treatment progresses throughout, so you know exactly what's happening. No matter how long you’ve been visiting the dentist, it can still be a challenge for a myriad of reasons. I’m always happy with my dental visits but today I feel compelled to share my experience. If I’m honest I don’t think I’ve ever felt so at ease and enjoyed such a concise explanation of all things dental. It really is such a joy to encounter a practitioner in such a challenging vocation that exudes joy, erudition and competence in equal measure. Eve is such a practitioner. I have been a patient as this practice for some years. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. My dentist, Mayur Patel, is brilliant and has kept my teeth viable and healthy for far longer than I thought possible given my age and medical history. The inevitable happened, however, and he advised that I needed lower implants and referred me to Abdul Nasser and his team. I was nervous about this, but having now had the extensive work done, I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Abdul went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and pain free. He is extremely skilled at his job and surrounded by people equally skilled in Gurj the technician, dental nurses Katie and Lauren and the wonderful Fatima who ensured the whole process was smooth from start to finish. If you need similar work undertaken, I cannot recommend this practice and these staff highly enoug Fantastic job and by the way the teeth look great! Thank you, David Wilson

I have always had a good experience here. The dentist I see , Mayur, is compassionate and caring. The receptionists are friendly and professional (Shout out to Lucy who is great at her job). I have a wonderful Hygenist, also called Lucy, who makes, what could be a distressing experience, a relaxing one. Great practice

I can't recommend this place enough. Has a person that didn't go to the dentist for years because of a bad experience when I was younger Sherwood Dental care has measured and given me the confidence to not fear the dentist again. Eve was the lovely lady that helped me with my fear. She is so patient and gentle I have and will continue to recommend this Dentist. to everyone. To anyone that has a fear or to parents with young children fear no more . This place is for you. To all at Sherwood dental especially Eve and the the lovely hygienist that I saw today again thank you.. Continue doing what you do.

I went for an emergency appointment after terrible pain in a root canal, as soon as I walked in, every receptionist made an effort to say hello and provided me with all the information I needed with care and clarity. After a short wait, Pooja and Melissa were dealing with my problem with professionalism and care - sometimes you go into dentists feeling a bit judged about your problems but not here - Pooja and Melissa got straight on it, gave me options and handled the issue straight away. Since then my recovery has been the best and I have been in little to no pain within a 24 hour period. Thank you all!

I'm consistently impressed by the excellent service Karan Maini provides. He is a true professional who takes great pride in his work—efficient, skilled, and genuinely caring.

I’ve just had a dental implant fitted for a missing upper molar & a mild internal sinus lift. Sounds scary but I’m amazed at the dexterity & precision of Abdul Naseer’s surgical skills, ably assisted by Georgia. Thanks to Demi too. All done in 30 mins.
